The program provides an opportunity for landlords to learn about:

· the court process for evictions
· crime free multi-housing
· fair housing
· requirements to obtain a rental license
· recognizing gang and drug activities
· prevention and applicant screening
“We have tried to include presenters that the landlords have ask for, this includes landlord tenant rights, how to file and execute an eviction, what you need to do to be involved in the Section 8 program, and how to recognize drug and gang activity in your property,” program coordinator for the Rental License Division Debby Graber said. “The one speaker I am very excited about is a respected landlord, Stan Gattan, who will speak about the perks and perils of being a landlord.
